Work for the Department of Economic Security (DES) in the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), you will be part of a team that empowers individuals and families with developmental disabilities. We are looking for a motivated leader committed to service, community, and teamwork.

Supervise a unit of professional staff, manage case work, and ensure all cases are completed within established timelines while complying with quality standards. Provide training, technical guidance, and performance evaluations to subordinate staff.

• Supervise and direct work activities of subordinate staff; provide necessary training and technical advice on ISP development, implementation, and monitoring; complete performance evaluations.
• Review cases assigned to the work unit; assess needs and assign cases to staff; review Individual Support Plans and ensure member needs are met; verify that assignments are completed on time.
• Meet with staff to identify necessary changes to Individual Support Plans.
• Review, verify, and authorize expenditures to keep within budgetary constraints; prepare case‑related reports; conduct units, district, or statewide training as assigned.

• Familiar with federal and state statutes, agency policies and procedures related to developmental disability care.
• Experience in case‑management methodology and development of Individual, Family, Service, or Person‑Centered Plans.
• Crises management and health‑insurance privacy (HIPAA).
• Oral and written communication; leadership and team‑building; workload management; problem identification and resolution.

• Case Manager Supervisor must be an Arizona‑licensed Registered Nurse, or possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Social Work, or a bachelor’s in Psychology, Special Education, or Counseling with at least three years of case‑management experience and three years of management experience.
• Valid Level 1 fingerprint clearance card.
• Background search of the Child Protective Services Central Registry.
• Complete background and reference checks; successful E‑Verify completion.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle use required.
