We are looking for a talented pet groomer, full or part-time, for a very busy salon. We are open seven days a week and can offer you flexibility with your work schedule. We are a drama-free salon and very team-oriented with great co-workers. Groomers are W‑2 and paid 50% commission plus all tips.
Compensation$60,000 full‑time commission‑based
Responsibilities- Consult with pet parents regarding their grooming preferences
- Bathe and perform scissor cuts and shaving services on pets
- Advise pet parents of any potential issues (skin issues, etc)
- Consult with pet parents on grooming frequency
- Maintain a clean work area and assist with cleaning common areas
- One year minimum pet grooming experience in a salon or vet clinic, which includes scissor cuts
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Proficient in basic grooming techniques for different breeds of dogs
- Knowledge of safety protocols and standards when working with animals
- Team player

We are located near Surprise in Sun City West, AZ, just a few minutes from either Bell Road or Grand Avenue.
