Responsibilities

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. For Department Managers, responsibilities may include Managing assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management; setting goals; delegating tasks; following up; and reporting results to teams and other managers.

Guest Service Department Managers oversee crew and managers to deliver great customer experience, execute sales promotions, train staff in service procedures, and keep Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas organized.

Kitchen Department Managers ensure the restaurant delivers high‑quality food quickly, maintains food safety, controls food cost, and trains kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items.

People Department Managers hire qualified crew, train and schedule them to meet sales and profit goals, and foster recognition and motivation.

Qualifications

Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.

Must be 18 years or older, a positive team player, flexible with schedules, and ready to thrive in McDonald’s fast‑paced environment.
