Pay: $15.00 – $18.55 per hour

Trapper's Sushi is looking to grow our team by adding a new Dishwasher in Surprise, Arizona!

Dishwashers are tasked with collecting used dishes, plates, and utensils, loading washing machines, and stacking washed items appropriately. This position plays a vital role in creating an unforgettable dining experience by keeping the heart of the restaurant clean and organized.

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas

• Load and unload dishwashing machines

• Wash specific items by hand (e.g., rice pots, very large cookware, delicate glassware)

• Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately

• Ensure dishes, glasses, and utensils are stocked, especially during peak hours

• Maintain cleaning supply stock (e.g., detergents)

• Check dishwashing machines and report any technical/performance issues

• Remove garbage regularly and dispose of it per store procedures

• Clean and sanitize the kitchen, bathrooms, and lobby as assigned

• Demonstrate and uphold all TRAPCHK core values

• Work experience as a Dishwasher or in any restaurant capacity preferred

• Ability to follow instructions and assist with various tasks as needed

• Strong time management skills and attention to detail

• Knowledge of sanitation rules

• High school diploma a plus

• Arizona Food Handler Card required before first day of work

• Regularly lift items up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 20 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds

• Stand for extended periods, walk, reach, lift, twist, crouch throughout shift

• Competitive pay: $15.00 – $18.55/hr (no tips)
