Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption and guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
• Engage with guests who need assistance to help solve their specific needs
• Inform guests of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to resolve issues and improve guest experience
• Thank guests and express appreciation for their visit
• Know and discuss the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards
• Work to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality
• Explain and demonstrate features of the Target App including Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; assist guests with enrollment and use
• Assist with returns following policies and procedures, coordinating with Leaders as needed
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage store supplies during open hours
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely; comply with safety policies, report hazards and correct where possible
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-Up orders and returns while complying with applicable laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays

• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

• Accurately handle checkout operations and cash office support as needed
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely, with typical lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 44 pounds with assistance
• Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; reliable attendance
• Ability to stay mobile for the duration of a shift
• Able to work in varying temperatures and environments related to Drive-Up and other duties
