Exult Performance is a faith‑based Sports Performance Training company located in Surprise, Arizona that focuses on creating personalized training for athletes to improve their athletic performance. Through assessments and evaluations, we help athletes improve injury prevention, speed, agility, power, endurance, and strength while working on specific athletic goals based on sport, position, and biomechanics. Role DescriptionThis part‑time on‑site role for a Sports Performance Coach is located in Surprise, AZ. The coach will deliver personalized 1‑on‑1 and small‑group training sessions aimed at improving athletic performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Coaching clients professionally with scientifically based training programs.
- Creating personalized or customized training plans in advance of client sessions.
- Designing and implementing strength, conditioning, speed, and agility programs.
- Following up with clients timely via texts, monthly check‑ins, performance‑testing results, and program details.
- Conducting performance testing and sending results in Exult Performance’s template to clients.
- Attending staff meetings, vendor events, and tournaments/games.
- Cleaning the gym/workout space after clients.
- Creating workout or educational content for social media to build rapport with the community.
- Showing proof of continuing education (certifications, relevant literature).
- Coaching athletes of all levels.
- Conducting consultations and closing new clients.
- Assisting with the sales process and sales cycle.
- Encouraging and maintaining a positive, driven environment for all athletes.
- Must hold a degree in Applied Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
- Must be certified through NASM, ACSM, and/or NSCA.
- Proficiency in Strength & Conditioning and Athletic Performance techniques.
- Experience coaching and training individuals and groups.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven leadership and ability to work collaboratively.
- Knowledge of fitness and nutrition principles.
- Passion for helping individuals achieve their physical and mental goals through a faith‑based approach.
