Pay Range $21.75 - $34.50 hourly

Salary offers are based on the candidate's equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification. The position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.

High school diploma or GEDA valid Arizona Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a tanker endorsement

We Also Value Two or more years of transportation construction or roadway maintenance experience.

Job Contributions Operate a variety of trucks and equipment in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures

Haul materials and transport vehicles and equipment to job sites using various trucks

Perform manual labor assignments as needed

Inspect, clean, and perform routine maintenance work on trucks and equipment; identify and report mechanical problems requiring additional repair

Complete required daily logs and prepare reports; attend safety meetings

Complete daily written reports and enter information into the Cartegraph asset management system

Perform traffic control activities as needed; report safety hazards and traffic problems

Performs other duties as assigned

Working Conditions Exerting over 100 pounds occasionally, 50 - 100 pounds frequently, or up to 20 - 50 pounds constantly

Incumbent may be subjected to extreme temperatures, wetness/humidity, respiratory hazards, and noise and vibration

Incumbent may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel

Machines, Tools, Equipment, Software, and Hardware Commercial motor vehicles, various construction equipment, including but not limited to water truck, dump truck, skid steer, sweeper, broce broom, trailers, and hand tools.

Protective Equipment Required Hard hat, gloves, eye protection, and steel-toed boots.
