The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting financial operations by ensuring accurate processing of invoices and reconciliations. With a minimum of 2 years experience in an accounting administrative role, you will manage multiple priorities, assist with monthly closes, and support audits as requested. Your proficiency in accounting principles will be essential in this on-site role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and match vendor invoices for discrepancies
• Reconcile payment batches in the accounting system
• Upload invoices to the electronic filing system
• Help with month-end and year-end financial processes
• Facilitate various audits when required
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED is essential
• 2+ years of administrative support within accounting
• Strong understanding of internal controls and compliance
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Excel required
• Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills
