Fraser Region Aboriginal Friendship Centre is looking for a motivated Junior Bookkeeper to join their finance department, focusing on 14 to 17.5 hours weekly. In this part-time position, you will accurately record financial transactions, assist in accounts payable and receivable, and contribute to financial reporting. This role provides an excellent opportunity for those pursuing a career in accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately record all financial transactions in the system

• Assist with managing accounts payable and receivable

• Help maintain the general ledger through journal entries

• Support financial report preparation and expense tracking

• Provide organizational support for payroll functions

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in accounting or related field ideal

• Experience with accounting software like Quickbooks or Sage

• High attention to detail and data accuracy

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools

• Strong communication and organizational abilities
