We are seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to enhance our Surrey-based practice, known for excellence over 30 years.
Your role includes overseeing client files, preparing financial statements, and assisting junior staff. You will handle tax returns, document intake, and utilize your accounting knowledge to provide stellar service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all phases of client file production and completion
• Prepare financial statements using Case Ware software
• Handle client documents for engagements and year-end processing
• Prepare various tax returns including T1 and T2
• Train junior staff and provide answers to their queries
Requirements:
• 3 to 5 years of Canadian public practice experience
• 3 to 5 years of Canadian bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Strong attention to detail and independent work skills
• Willingness to learn and grow within the firm
