This Financial Accountant role requires a proactive approach to developing budgetary frameworks and preparing detailed financial statements. Your responsibilities will include monitoring budget deviations, analyzing capital progress, and collaborating with ministry staff on various financial projects. You will also assist in ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Monitor operating expenditures and budget variances

• Oversee funding agreements and receivables management

• Compile and distribute budgetary materials to stakeholders

• Assist with year-end audit preparations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management or Accounting

• Minimum four years of related experience

• Eligible for CPA Professional Education Program

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s license
