Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join their Finance & Accounting team. You will take charge of inventory accounting, support month-end closing processes, and manage compliance audits. Strong analytical skills and knowledge of operational accounting will be crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee inventory accounting and financial reporting accuracy

• Assist with month-end journal entries and reconciliations

• Manage accounts payable and vendor transactions

• Support compliance with U.S. and Canadian tax filings

• Drive continuous improvement in accounting workflows

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience

• Hands-on knowledge of inventory accounting processes

• CPA designation is a plus

• Experience with ERP systems and Excel proficiency

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
