Accounting Manager Financial Reporting

Lead financial reporting and month-end close onsite at Regent Christian Academy Society, using advanced Excel and CPA expertise in a full-time contract.
The Accounting Manager owns daily accounting across related entities and supports the VP of Finance with leadership and board reporting. This 18-month maternity leave coverage contract begins January 2027 at the Sullivan Campus. Responsibilities include cash flow forecasting, balance sheet reconciliations, ASNPO reporting, and financial controls. The position suits a CPA or candidate well advanced in CPA PEP.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead monthly close calendars, journal entries, accruals, and amortization
- Prepare financial statements and budget variance commentary
- Reconcile asset, liability, and intercompany accounts monthly
- Prepare audit working papers for external auditors
- Report financial information to leadership, committees, and the Board
- CPA designation or well advanced CPA PEP progress
- Five-plus years progressive accounting experience
- Two-plus years leading month-end close
- Strong ASNPO, fund accounting, and deferred contributions knowledge
- Advanced Excel and ERP or mid-market accounting system experience
