Join the Russel Metals team as an Administrative Assistant on a six-month full-time contract in Surrey, BC. This role is perfect for individuals looking to enhance their administrative expertise while working in a well-established metals distribution firm.
Reporting directly to the Administration Manager, you will play a key role in daily operations. Responsibilities include managing inventory adjustments, handling invoicing, and providing backup support to fellow team members. Strong organizational and analytical skills are essential in meeting department goals and maintaining efficient workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle invoicing and material processing forms
• Record and retrieve mill test reports
• Enter inventory adjustments as required
• Process MRA’s to credit customers
• Complete assigned administrative projects
Requirements:
• Grade 12 diploma
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Computer proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Attention to detail and flexibility under pressure
• Effective communication skills
