Inventory Clerk

Position: Surrey Police Service Inventory Clerk
Join Surrey Police Service's Training and Development Division as a Regular Full-Time Inventory Clerk, focusing on inventory management and support tasks. This on-site position is vital for ensuring that equipment is available and in working order.

You’ll report directly to the Procurement and Asset Manager, engaging in responsibilities such as data entry, tracking inventory movements, and liaison with both internal and external parties. The position demands strong organizational skills and independent judgment within clearly defined guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure inventory items are operational and accessible

• Complete data entry efficiently and accurately

• Track and report on inventory item movements

• Order and manage inventory, including maintenance

• Assist with safety checks and documentation

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 12 plus related courses

• Two years’ experience in inventory management preferred

• Requires SPS Security Clearance and RCMP Reliability

• Excellent communication skills for liaising with others

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
