Support primary care services at Atlin Health Centre with medical terminology and clinic administration skills. Northern Health seeks an efficient, self-directed assistant.
This experienced Primary Care Assistant supports providers and the Interprofessional Team under a Manager or designate. The position delivers operational and administrative support in clinic or community settings. Work follows Northern Health policies and procedures while supporting safe, efficient, quality primary care services.
Key Responsibilities:- Support Primary Care providers and the Interprofessional Team
- Provide operational and administrative clinic support
- Follow Northern Health policies and procedures
- Support safe, efficient, quality primary care services
- Grade 12 completion
- Office Assistant Course and two recent related healthcare years
- Or equivalent education, training, and experience
- Medical terminology knowledge and computer application proficiency
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
