The Jim Pattison Auto Group is seeking an energetic, reliable, and organized Car Wash Attendant to be the pillar of support for our Jim Pattison Hyundai Surrey dealership. As a supporting role for our Service department, you’ll play a key part in ensuring that our vehicles are well presented to our customers.

Schedule
:
This is a full-time, permanent role of 40 hours per week. The regularly scheduled hours will be from Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Pay Range
: $18.25 per hour, depending on experience

This role reports to the Service Manager of the dealership.

• Maintain and monitor the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of our customer vehicles, including exterior washing and interior cleaning
• Maneuver, arrange, and relocate guest vehicles with care
• Ensure any potential issues with vehicles or the dealership property are promptly reported
• Safe use of tools, equipment, and cleaning supplies
• Ensure a high degree of confidentiality with company and customer information
• Participate in maintaining a supportive and engaging working environment
• Other duties as assigned

• A valid BC Driver’s license is required, including a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract report
• Previous experience in the automotive industry is considered a strong asset
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions is preferred
• Strong customer-service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• This is a physically active role and requires the following:
  • Frequent walking throughout the dealership building and lot
  • Walking and/or standing for long periods
  • Frequent operation of automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • Washing vehicles, which may include use of various cleaning products and frequent bending, crouching, and reaching
  • Significant time spent outdoors in various weather, including sun, rain, wind, snow, cold, and heat. Weather conditions are monitored for safety as needed

This role requires successful candidates to submit a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract from ICBC.
