Responsibilities

Conduct Vehicle Inspections:  Perform thorough inspections to identify issues, documentation via Video Multipoint Inspection.

Diagnose Issues:  Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical problems and document recommendations.

Perform Repairs and Maintenance:  Carry out repairs and maintenance on vehicles.

Communicate with Service Advisors:  Provide updates on repair status and discuss issues.

Maintain Clean, Safe Workspace:  Keep workspace organized and safe.

Measurables

Efficiency/Productivity:  Amount of work completed per period.

Comeback Rate:  Percentage of jobs requiring redo due to error or dissatisfaction.

Time to Repair:  Time from diagnosis to completion.

Training and Certification:  Technician's training level and certification.

Customer Satisfaction:  Customer satisfaction with work quality and experience.

Compensation
The hourly compensation range for the Apprentice position at Applewood Auto Group is $32.00–$35.00 per hour. The final rate will be based on knowledge, skills, and experience.

Qualifications

Beginning schooling to become a Red Seal Automotive service technician.

Valid Class 5 driver’s license.

1–2 years of direct automotive repair and service experience.

Willingness to learn and grow.

Clear communication of automotive issues using simple terminology.
