ScheduleWeekday shifts with rotating Saturdays
Compensation$36.75 Flat-rate hourly pay based on experience, certification, and overall qualifications.
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you'll become an important part of a busy dealership committed to delivering an outstanding ownership experience.

What You'll Be DoingYour day will involve a wide variety of repair and diagnostic work, including:
- Inspecting customer vehicles to accurately identify mechanical and electrical concerns.
- Completing repairs and maintenance according to manufacturer specifications and dealership quality standards.
- Performing warranty repairs, recall work, scheduled maintenance, and customer-requested services.
- Diagnosing drivability, engine performance, brake, suspension, steering, HVAC, and electrical system concerns using manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment.
- Completing detailed digital inspections and documenting findings clearly.
- Discussing repair recommendations and repair progress with Service Advisors to ensure customers receive accurate information.
- Road testing vehicles before and after repairs to verify proper operation.
- Coordinating with the Parts Department to ensure required components are available for efficient repairs.
- Maintaining accurate repair orders and supporting warranty documentation requirements.
- Following all workplace safety procedures while keeping your work area clean, organized, and professional.
- Supporting your teammates by sharing knowledge and contributing to an efficient, positive shop environment.

Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience performing diagnostics and repairs in a professional automotive repair facility.
- Confidence using scan tools, diagnostic software, and manufacturer service information.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, engine performance, and vehicle diagnostics.
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities with a methodical approach to repairs.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- A valid BC Driver's Licence supported by a satisfactory Driver's Abstract.
- Comfort driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.
- Dependability, professionalism, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
This role is physically active and takes place within a modern automotive service facility.
Technicians should be comfortable with- Frequently standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching throughout the workday.
- Lifting components and equipment weighing up to approximately 60 lbs.
- Working around vehicle lifts, moving equipment, shop machinery, and active repair bays.
- Exposure to automotive noise, cleaning products, exhaust, lubricants, and seasonal shop temperatures.
- Performing precision work requiring manual dexterity and attention to detail.
