Carpenter Helper

Position: Full-Time Carpenter Helper Role
GMK Framing and Forming Inc. is hiring a Carpenter Helper in Surrey, BC. This permanent, full-time role focuses on supporting residential construction through hands-on assistance and site management.

As a Carpenter Helper, you will work with GMK Framing and Forming Inc. to assist in various tasks crucial to building projects. Responsibilities include loading construction materials, cleaning job sites, and helping with framing and wall erection. The position requires physical capability, especially in lifting and handling heavy loads in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and transport materials on site

• Assist in the construction of walls and roofs

• Maintain a clean workspace by removing debris

• Organize and clean salvaged construction materials

Requirements:

• Previous experience in residential framing is a plus

• Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting

• Must be capable of working at heights

• Must be authorized to work in Canada
