Entry Level Welder

Position: Entry Level Welder at West Shore Constructors

Ideal candidates will work primarily in the field, applying skills in welding, rigging, and operating mobile equipment. Experience in heavy construction is preferred, with an emphasis on welding steel pipe piles and structural steel. You'll have the chance to gain experience with various construction tasks that aid in the development of a well-rounded skill set.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform self shielded flux core arc welding of steel components

• Operate cranes and mobile equipment as needed

• Contribute to various tasks on construction projects

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols on site

• Collaborate with team members on diverse projects

Requirements:

• CWB certified (Flux – All Positions)

• Trade certification Level B or equivalent preferred

• 1+ years of construction experience preferred

• Familiarity with rigging and cranes is an asset

• Ability to manage and supervise others is an asset
