Salary Range: $90,000 – $100,000 + Commission

eSkyline Recruitment is representing a growing scaffolding contractor serving commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential construction projects throughout Metro Vancouver. Our client is seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong scaffolding background to support a growing portfolio of projects. This role will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates, developing competitive bids, and working closely with operations teams, project stakeholders, and clients to secure and successfully deliver projects.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who understands scaffolding operations, construction processes, and project logistics, and can confidently develop practical solutions for a wide range of construction environments.

• Reviewing drawings, specifications, tender documents, and project requirements.
• Conducting site visits to assess project scope, logistics, and site conditions.
• Preparing detailed quantity take-offs for labour, materials, equipment, and transportation.
• Developing accurate and competitive quotations and tender submissions.
• Pricing scaffold installations, shrink wrap systems, material hoists, garbage chutes, and related services.
• Working closely with operations teams to ensure estimates align with project execution plans.
• Identifying project risks, challenges, and opportunities during the estimating process.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with general contractors, developers, and project stakeholders.
• Managing multiple tenders and ensuring submissions are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Assisting with project handovers and monitoring estimate performance against actual project costs.
• Supporting business development efforts and identifying opportunities for future work.

• Minimum 3+ years of estimating experience within scaffolding or a related construction sector.
• Strong understanding of scaffolding systems, construction methods, and site operations.
• Experience pricing commercial, industrial, institutional, or residential construction projects.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
• Strong understanding of labour, equipment, and material cost.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software.
• Self‑motivated and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
