Position: Civil Superintendent for Highway Projects
Jacob Bros is seeking a Civil Superintendent for highway projects in the Fraser Valley. Lead construction activities and ensure project safety, quality, and budget compliance.

As a Civil Superintendent with Jacob Bros, you will supervise on-site construction teams, mentoring craft personnel while managing resources effectively. This position requires strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and trades, ensuring all project specifications and safety protocols are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise construction workforce and on-site activities

• Hire, train, and mentor craft personnel and subcontractors

• Prepare work plans, scheduling, and material assessments

• Monitor project construction plans and implement schedules

• Lead site meetings and develop stakeholder relationships

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years as a Civil Superintendent in earthworks

• 3 additional years' experience as a Foreman or Field Engineer

• Strong knowledge of construction specifications and contract language

• Understanding of safety and environmental regulations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project software
