Join a reputable design-build contractor as an Estimator specializing in pre-engineered steel buildings in Lower Mainland, BC. This full-time role focuses on accurate cost estimation and relationship building.

The client is seeking an experienced Estimator with over three years of hands-on experience in pre-engineered steel buildings. You will prepare detailed cost estimates from specifications, conduct quantity takeoffs, and create competitive proposals essential for project awards. Strong communication with subtrades and suppliers will be vital to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate estimates from project drawings

• Complete quantity takeoffs and pricing

• Build relationships with subtrades and suppliers

• Prepare competitive proposals for projects

Requirements:

• 3+ years of estimating experience

• Experience with pre-engineered steel buildings required

• Strong understanding of structural and architectural drawings

• Proficiency in Excel and estimating software
