Estimator – Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings
Lower Mainland, BC | Full-time | Confidential Search
Our client is a well-established, design‑build contractor specializing in pre‑engineered steel buildings across industrial, commercial, institutional, and public‑sector projects. Due to continued growth, they’re looking to add an experienced Estimator to their team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare accurate cost estimates from drawings and specifications
- Complete quantity takeoffs and pricing for steel building projects
- Build relationships with subtrades, suppliers, and manufacturers
- Prepare competitive proposals and support projects through award
- 3+ years of estimating experience
- Hands‑on experience estimating pre‑engineered steel buildings (PEB/PEMB) is required
- Strong understanding of structural/architectural drawings and quantity takeoffs
- Proficiency with Excel and estimating/takeoff software
