Position: Project Controls Lead for Pipeline Projects
Drive success in large-scale gas pipeline projects as a Project Controls Lead with SMJV. Oversee project controls functions, data tracking, and team management to ensure accurate forecasting and timely delivery.

As a Project Controls Lead, you will work closely with the Commercial and Project Managers on field-based construction initiatives in remote Alberta or British Columbia. This senior role demands a robust understanding of project cost, scheduling, and effective leadership skills to influence project outcomes positively. You'll engage in establishing cost reporting systems, analyze trends, and produce essential project control reports to maintain optimal project health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project scheduling using controls systems.

• Analyze cost and schedule trends with project managers.

• Monitor project progress and maintain change logs.

• Oversee invoicing processes and billing reconciliations.

• Prepare comprehensive project control reports for stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 6-10 years in oil and gas construction management.

• Relevant degrees or certifications in engineering or project management.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.

• Fieldwork experience essential under shift rotations.

• Strong understanding of construction documentation and industry practices.
