Full-Time On-Site Estimator Role

Blue Sky Plumbing & Heating Ltd. is looking for a full-time Construction Estimator to join their team in Surrey, BC. This on-site role is perfect for candidates skilled in cost estimation and blueprint analysis.

With a required college education or equivalent and 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, you’ll prepare labor and material estimates, manage cost reporting, and create bids. Your expertise will directly impact project efficiency and budget adherence. This position involves maintaining contractor supply directories to streamline project operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare estimates for labor and material expenses

• Analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications

• Create estimate reports and bids for projects

• Develop cost monitoring and reporting mechanisms

• Maintain a directory of suppliers and contractors

Requirements:

• College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience

• 3-5 years of construction estimating experience

• Expertise in blueprint reading and analysis

• Must be eligible to work in Canada

• Strong administrative and organizational abilities
