Grading Crew Member at Cavanagh

Become a vital part of Thomas Cavanagh Construction as a Grading Crew Member. This role focuses on assisting in ground preparation and surface leveling for construction and site development projects.

The Grading Crew Member will support supervisors in ensuring surfaces meet project specifications while adhering to safety and quality standards. Key responsibilities include site preparation tasks, working alongside heavy equipment, and maintaining an organized work area. You'll also collaborate with team members to achieve efficient workflows and successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with site preparation activities, including soil leveling

• Operate hand tools for fine grading surfaces

• Install grade stakes and markers for accurate grading

• Load and distribute construction materials as needed

• Conduct site clean-up to ensure safety and organization

Requirements:

• Previous construction experience is preferred

• Physically capable of performing manual tasks

• Basic knowledge of grading practices and tools

• Valid driver’s license required

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
