In this fixed-term contract role, you’ll support site management with health and safety legislation compliance while liaising with supervisors and workers. Your responsibilities will include maintaining safety standards, conducting site inspections, and ensuring documentation is accurate and up-to-date. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in construction safety support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote OHS system and compliance on site
• Educate project personnel on safety best practices
• Conduct site inspections and implement corrective actions
• Manage safety documentation for injuries and incidents
• Organize and schedule safety training for workers
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years in construction/infrastructure health and safety
• Construction Safety Officer Certification required
• Valid BC Driver’s license and clean abstract
• Knowledge of WorkSafeBC regulations essential
• Physical fitness to work outdoors in all conditions
