Electrical Construction Estimator

Position: Electrical Construction Estimator Role
Become a key player at Western Pacific Enterprises, Ltd. as a Senior Estimator in the electrical construction domain. Deliver accurate cost estimates and enhance client relationships while mentoring junior estimators.

As a Senior Estimator, you will be crucial in supporting commercial and industrial electrical projects. Your responsibilities include preparing labor and material cost estimates, responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and mentoring the estimating team. Collaboration with project management is essential to ensure competitive and profitable bidding outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare complete labor and material cost estimates

• Outline responses to RFPs and RFQs

• Help maintain and develop the estimating database

• Review and evaluate estimating staff performance

• Act as the first point of contact for the estimating team

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of electrical construction estimating experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management

• Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code (CEC)

• Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Office

• Strong analytical and communication skills
