Senior Estimator at Western Pacific

In this position, your primary focus will be preparing comprehensive cost estimates and engaging in the RFP process for large-scale electrical projects. You will assist fellow estimators in bid preparation, maintain an up-to-date estimating database, and conduct field evaluations to validate costs. Your expertise will shape strategic bidding approaches that enhance project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed labor and material cost estimates

• Coordinate with project management throughout bidding

• Develop and maintain client relationships

• Assist in training junior estimator staff

• Submit change orders and manage project cost tracking

Requirements:

• 5+ years in electrical construction estimating

• Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field

• Familiarity with local electrical codes

• Skilled in Bluebeam and estimating software

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
