Elevation Technical Services (ETS) is expanding its Geospatial & Digital Delivery (G&DD) services within the vertical construction market across the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, supporting building projects with construction survey, laser scanning, reality capture, and QA/QC verification.

Elevation Technical Services (ETS) is expanding its Geospatial & Digital Delivery (G&DD) services within the vertical construction market across the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, supporting building projects with construction survey, laser scanning, reality capture, and QA/QC verification.

We are seeking a Team Lead to help deliver and grow these services across Vancouver, Surrey, Burnaby, and the Fraser Valley. This role focuses on providing accurate field data, real-time construction verification, and digital deliverables that improve quality, reduce rework, and support project execution.

This is a hands-on, field-based role working directly on active construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform construction survey services including layout, control, and as-built data capture
  • Execute laser scanning and reality capture for building construction projects
  • Support QA/QC verification workflows, including pre-pour, structural, and installation validation
  • Process and validate field data using Civil 3D, Revit, Trimble Business Center (TBC) or similar software
  • Deliver accurate, high-quality outputs to support construction teams and project decisions
  • Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, and site teams across the Lower Mainland
  • Contribute to the development of standardized survey, scanning, and QA/QC workflows
Qualifications & Experience Education & Certifications Preferred (one Or More Of The Following)
  • Diploma or Degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field
  • CST (Certified Survey Technician) designation (or working toward)
  • ASTTBC

    C.Tech or AScT designation (or eligibility)
  • Exposure to BCLS (BC Land Surveyor) pathway considered an asset
Technical Experience (Required) Equivalent field experience will be strongly considered.
  • Experience in construction survey, geomatics, or laser scanning
  • Strong understanding of building construction workflows in active site environments
  • Experience with:
  • Robotic total stations (Trimble preferred)
  • GNSS survey equipment
  • Laser scanning / reality capture technologies
  • Proficiency with:
  • Trimble Access
  • Trimble Business Center (TBC) or equivalent
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, BIM models, and specifications
Additional Experience (Preferred)
  • Experience with construction QA/QC verification and tolerance analysis
  • Exposure to BIM/VDC workflows and scan-to-BIM processes
  • Familiarity with Trimble Field Link, Real Works, or similar tools
  • Experience supporting or leading survey or scanning teams
