Reporting to the Chief Estimator, you will utilize estimating software for quantity takeoffs, negotiate with sub-trades, and support full-cycle estimating activities. Your responsibilities include preparing hard bid, cost plus, and design-build estimates while contributing strategies for competitive tenders and evaluating project risks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare complete project estimates through thorough analysis

• Devise bid strategies for competitive tender projects

• Accurately determine scopes of work and conceptual estimates

• Calculate material quantities from engineering drawings

• Assist in the review of final estimates for project alignment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field

• 1+ years of estimating experience in civil construction

• Strong understanding of first principles estimating

• Proficient with estimating software and CAD

• Legally eligible to work in Canada
