Senior Animator in Character Rigging Solutions

In this pivotal role, you'll report to the Lead Technical Animator, focusing on the development of character rigs and artist tools. You'll spearhead solutions for emerging workflows, engaging with various departments to optimize animation pipelines in Maya and the Source Engine. Your ability to troubleshoot and support other animators will be essential for maintaining a smooth production process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and optimize character rigs and animation tools
• Develop pioneering solutions for animation workflows
• Collaborate on asset integration and troubleshooting
• Coordinate with Tech and Art on scalable solutions
• Support animation teams with hands-on troubleshooting
Requirements:
• 5+ years of game industry technical experience
• Strong rigging and skinning skills in Maya
• Proficiency in Python and writing tools for artists
• Familiarity with real-time deformation setups
• Previous contributions to FPS titles preferred
