Position:
Material Handler / Customer Service Counter Sales.
The Material Handler / Customer Service Counter Sales acts as the primary point of contact for incoming branch customers. They will be responsible for providing excellent customer service by interpreting customer needs, troubleshooting issues, ensuring order accuracy and recommending products and solutions.
What to expect in the role- Attention to detail: working in the warehouse reviewing stock, assembling orders, and shipping/receiving.
- Customer service oriented: maintaining and building customer relations through product quotations and sales.
- Multi‑task individual: juggling multiple client requests and meeting competing timelines.
- Communicator: essential verbal and written communication with customers and colleagues.
- Highly organized: key due to high volume of customer requests requiring adjustments and interruptions.
- Comfortable with technology: use of phone, computer, and internal systems.
Duties include:
- Order assembly, packing & shipping
- Receiving stock
- Keeping warehouse maintenance
- Customer sales support including operating equipment
- Managing inventory
- Processing shipments
- Assisting with priority orders and customer inquiries
- High school completion
- 3 years of customer service experience is an asset
- 2 years of electrical lighting industry experience is an asset
- Previous experience in warehouse operations including shipping/receiving is an asset
- Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in MS Office & ability to learn new software programs
- Basic mathematical skills

Compensation is determined by the candidate’s experience, education qualifications, role complexity, internal equity, and other relevant factors.
