Experience the joy of giving during the Christmas season as a Part-Time Kettle Host with The Salvation Army in Surrey, BC. Assist with fundraising efforts and connect with the community.
In this temporary role, starting November 13 and running until December 24, 2026, you will engage with donors and ensure the safety of donations at various kettle locations. Your professionalism and strong customer service skills will be essential as you represent The Salvation Army and address donor questions effectively, fostering a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Remain at the kettle for the entire shift
• Answer questions from potential donors
• Dress and groom in a professional manner
• Operate independently with minimal supervision
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Up to one year of customer service experience
• Experience with money handling preferred
• Ability to lift and move kettle equipment
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to accommodate safety policies
