KPU Front Desk Student Assistant

Support KPU Sport & Recreation at the Surrey campus using customer service and organizational skills. Work up to 15 hours weekly as a current KPU student.

The Front Desk Student Assistant supports fitness centre, gymnasium, and recreation program operations. You will serve students, faculty, and staff while sharing program information. Duties include registration, equipment rentals, membership inquiries, inventory tracking, and facility supervision.

• Provide customer service across front desk and recreation facilities
• Explain KPU programs and services to the community
• Assist registrations, rentals, laundry services, and membership inquiries
• Set up and take down program equipment
• Monitor inventory and supervise facility policy compliance

• Current full-time KPU student taking at least nine credits
• Good academic standing at KPU
• Effective communication and basic computer skills
• Problem-solving ability with strong organization
• Initiative, responsibility, teamwork, and deadline management
