Our team at Viva Orthodontics is looking for an enthusiastic Licensed Dental Assistant (formerly referred to as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) in British Columbia) to join our well-established practices in New Westminster and South Surrey, British Columbia.

• Assist Orthodontist with all stages of orthodontic procedures such as direct bond bracket procedures, arch wire and appliance adjustments, and aligner appointments
• Providing all aspects of clinical patient care in a professional, efficient, and caring manner
• Sterilization procedures, setting up the operatories, taking x-rays, photos, and intraoral scans
• Building positive relationships with patients, families, and coworkers to ensure the targeted outcome treatment remains on schedule
• Enter detailed chart/record notations in the practice management system
• Provide patient instruction/education
• Provide reports to parents/guardians
• Ability to perform other duties as required for the efficient operation of the practice

• Must hold current licensing/registration required to practice as a Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) (formerly referred to as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) in British Columbia). New graduates welcomed!
• Completion of the Orthodontics Module

• Strong commitment to infection prevention, sterilization, and maintaining a clean clinical environment
