Join the Hospitalist Group at Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH), one of BC’s busiest acute care centres and a flagship teaching site within the Fraser Health Region. This role focuses on developing a permanent acute care hospitalist practice.

• Admit and manage “unattached” patients as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP).
• Provide supportive care for surgical and specialist medical patients.
• Demonstrate superior clinical and communication skills with exceptional bedside manner.
• Commit to the specialty of Hospital Medicine and participate in quality improvement and teaching initiatives.

• ACLS, CCFP, CMPA, CPSBC eligible for full license, CPSBC full.
• Strong interest in developing a permanent acute care hospitalist practice.

• Contract position—current contract pays $200.10/hr.
• Dependent on Physician Master Agreement and Regional Hospitalist Contract.
