Position: Internal Medicine Specialist with CAF
Serve your country as an Internal Medicine Specialist in the Canadian Armed Forces, providing acute and critical care in both local and global settings. This role empowers you to impact military healthcare significantly.

As you fulfill this position, you will attend to the diverse medical needs of CAF members across Canada and abroad. Leading intensive care teams and maintaining clinical competencies through civilian practice is crucial. Additionally, you will act as an educator to other healthcare professionals, ensuring acute care proficiency within the CAF.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care at Canadian Forces clinics

• Manage intensive care for patients in various settings

• Offer transport care during patient evacuations

• Advise teams on critical care medicine

• Shape health care policies within the CAF

Requirements:

• Unrestricted practice license in Internal Medicine

• Membership in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada

• Documented experience in critical care medicine

• Participation in military readiness training

• Capacity for deployment in challenging environments
