Job Summary

The Surrey Radiology Group is seeking two full-time (2 x 1.0 FTE) radiologists to join our radiologist team at Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH) and the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre (JPOCSC) in Surrey, British Columbia.

Practice Overview

SMH is a 600+ bed community and academic teaching hospital serving over 600,000 people. It functions as a regional referral centre for complex and high‑acuity care, supporting major programs including oncology, thoracic surgery, trauma, critical care, nephrology, and maternal‑child health.

JPOCSC is a modern ambulatory care facility focused on high‑volume outpatient imaging, same‑day surgery, and specialty clinics. It provides scheduled outpatient CT, MRI, X‑ray, ultrasound, mammography and minor interventional procedures, working closely with SMH to support efficient care delivery and surgical wait‑time reduction.

Group and Academic Environment

Our 15‑member radiology group is built on collegiality, equity, and mutual support, with the majority being fellowship‑trained and offering broad subspecialty expertise. The practice combines on‑site and remote clinical work, complemented by flexible scheduling. Compensation is highly competitive and based on an equitable pooled group billing model. Partners with the University of British Columbia Department of Radiology offer opportunities to teach senior radiology residents, with expected growth in academic engagement.

Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre, Surrey Memorial Hospital.

  • Certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
