Position: Physician Role in Pain Management Program
Become a Physician with CBI Health in Surrey, BC, focusing on a specialized Pain Management Program. This part-time role offers scheduling flexibility as you work with an interdisciplinary team.

The position, approximately half to one day per week, emphasizes assessing and treating injured workers with complex pain issues. Collaborate closely with Pharmacists, Psychologists, and Therapists to develop comprehensive care strategies. Educate patients on pain management and assist them in tapering medications safely while supporting their return to work and everyday activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver medical assessments and treatments for complex cases

• Work with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes

• Tailor treatment programs to meet unique client needs

• Facilitate client education on pain management

• Support medication tapering as part of treatment strategies

Requirements:

• Licensed physician in Canada, BC College eligibility preferred

• Specialty in Sports Medicine or Physical Rehabilitation

• Knowledge of pain management and rehabilitation practices

• Strong interpersonal skills for patient collaboration

• Flexibility in scheduling for part-time availability
