As a physician, you will be part of a supportive team dedicated to providing evidence-based treatment for addiction. Candidates with language skills in Punjabi, Hindi, or Urdu will be prioritized, enhancing community collaboration and care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide low-barrier access to addiction medicine services
• Collaborate with a friendly team of healthcare providers
• Participate in alternating Tuesday shifts of 6.5 hours
• Deliver equitable care tailored to community needs
• Engage with diverse patient backgrounds to promote inclusivity
Requirements:
• Active CPSBC license with CCFP eligibility
• Experience in addiction medicine is an asset
• ISAM or ABAM certification preferred
• Language skills in South Asian languages prioritized
• Commitment to equitable healthcare practices
