• Wage: $20.00~$24.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours:
  
  30-40 hours/week
• Number of Positions: 4
• Work Location:
  
  Avenue, Surrey, BC V3T 1W3
• 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

• Plan activities by sharing stories, teaching songs, and organizing craft sessions
• Plan and organize activities for school-age children in child-care programs before and after regular school hours
• Guide and help children in establishing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
• Detect the signs of potential learning or behavioural problems of children, and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors
• Offer children various opportunities to express their creativity through a range of enjoyable and diverse activities
• Supervise and propose activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants
• Create and implement child-care programs that help and encourage the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
• Participate in staff meetings to discuss the progress and challenges related to children’s development
• Maintain a safe environment that prioritizes the well-being and security of children

Job requirements:

• Experience:
  
  Experience is an asset
• Education:
  
  College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required
• Certificate:
  First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and E.C.E. Certificate
