Position: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $48,000 – $54,500/year (depending on experience)

Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

Work Location: th Street, Surrey, BC V3T 2X9

• Assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
• Support children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
• Engage children in storytelling, songs, and crafts to encourage social and cognitive growth
• Prepare snacks and set up rooms for lunch and rest periods
• Provide written observations on children’s progress to early childhood educators or supervisors
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and assist with housekeeping and cooking tasks
• Attend staff meetings to review children’s development and address any concerns

• Experience:
  
  1-2 years of experience in childcare
• Education:
  
  Completion of secondary school
• Certificates:
  First Aid, CPR, and E.C.E.A. Certificates
