We are currently seeking a dedicated and supportive Teacher’s Assistant to join our instructional team. This is a blended role, providing academic and administrative support to both in-person and online learners in a dynamic and student-centered environment.

The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and passionate about helping students succeed in their studies. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both instructional support and educational technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide academic support to students during in-person labs, workshops, or tutorials.
  • Assist students in navigating online learning platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
  • Support instructors in monitoring class participation, attendance, and assignment submissions.
  • Respond to student questions and direct them to appropriate resources or supports.
  • Help set up and organize instructional materials both online and in the classroom.
  • Assist in marking quizzes or assignments as directed by the instructor.
  • Coordinate with faculty to identify students needing extra help and provide one-on-one or group support.
  • Help facilitate smooth communication between students and instructors in both learning environments.
  • Qualifications:
  • Completion of a diploma/degree (preferably in Healthcare or Social Work/Human Services).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable with online tools such as Microsoft Teams & basic troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with adult learners or in an academic setting is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
