Position: Elementary Teacher for Grade 7
Teach Grade 7 all subjects at Khalsa School Newton starting September 1, 2026. Contribute to a supportive community in a faith-based educational environment.

Khalsa School Newton is hiring a homeroom teacher for Grade 7 in Surrey, BC, for the  academic year. As part of our diverse teaching staff, you'll deliver the BC Curriculum and help cultivate an engaging, inclusive classroom atmosphere. Ideal for teachers from various backgrounds, our school follows the IB MYP framework and supports professional development and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement impactful lesson plans

• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and educators

• Apply excellent communication skills to engage with the community

• Instruct using BC Curriculum materials in English

• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

• BC Teaching Certification required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education required

• Previous Canadian teaching experience preferred

• Full-time availability necessary

• Must meet employment criteria in Canada
