Overview Elevate education as a Full-Time Biology and Science Teacher at White Rock Christian Academy in Metro Vancouver. This maternity leave role involves teaching Science 10 and International Baccalaureate Biology courses.
Beginning November 1, 2026, this position offers the opportunity to inspire students in a Christian educational workplace. Collaboration and inquiry-driven teaching are essential as you guide students through Science 10, IB Biology 11, and IB Biology 12. Training in the International Baccalaureate is available for the ideal candidate.
Responsibilities Teach Science 10 and IB Biology 11 and 12
Encourage team-oriented and inquiry-based learning
Design engaging lesson plans for diverse learners
Assess and provide feedback on student performance
Contribute to a positive school culture
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience in teaching Biology and Science subjects
Robust commitment to Christian values in education
Team-oriented with collaborative teaching philosophy
Prepared to complete IB training if necessary
