Position Title:

Elementary Classroom Teacher

Regent Christian Academy (RCA) is a faith-based educational institution located in Surrey, BC.

The Elementary Classroom Teacher must be a dedicated and passionate educator who creates a nurturing, stimulating, and Christ-centered learning environment. They will be responsible for fostering the academic and social development of young minds, with a specific focus on core curriculum areas such as Math and English.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the BC Ministry of Education’s standards and a Biblical worldview.
• Create a positive classroom culture that encourages student participation and fosters a lifelong love for learning.
• Assess and support student progress through diverse methods and provide individualized support or tutoring to ensure all children reach their learning goals.
• Collaborate effectively with parents, students, and colleagues, modeling servant leadership and a collaborative spirit.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in professional development to stay current with innovative teaching strategies, such as Frenchify techniques.

• Pay: CA 53,000 – 95,000 annually

• BC Teaching Certificate (Required).
• BA Degree in Education (or equivalent) with a relevant specialty.
