Position: Education Assistant Role at Pacific Academy
Pacific Academy is hiring an Education Assistant to enhance the learning experience for students. The role requires support for those with special needs within a Christian educational framework.
As an Education Assistant, you'll assist students in regular classrooms and the Learning Support Centre, implementing educational plans under the supervision of the Learning Support Coordinator. This position demands flexibility, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to Christian education and values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support in classrooms and Learning Support Centre

• Assist in executing IEPs and Support Plans

• Collaborate with other Education Assistants

• Employ non-violent strategies to assist during emotional challenges
Requirements:

• Educational Assistant certification required

• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder or similar disorders an asset

• Must provide a Criminal Record Check

• Active commitment to Christian Education

• Proficient in English, both spoken and written
